Posy Quarterman Bio:
New York born, and Oregon raised, Posy is a family photographer and teacher of photography living in St. Johns, Portland. Posy teaches classes to other photographers through The DEFINE School, is a presenter at the Yeah Field Trip photography conference in Santa Barbara, California, and is a participating member of fine art photographers selling prints through Eventide Collective. Posy doesn’t remember a time in her life when she didn’t have a camera around her neck; one of her fondest childhood memories is receiving a Polaroid from her grandmother for Christmas 1986. Posy loves light, film, the Oregon coast, her students, a good puttanesca, and being a mother to her firecracker of a 9 year old daughter. She is not entirely comfortable talking about herself in the third person.
